He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Wolter and Nelda Wolter; his son Keith Wolter; his granddaughter Morgan Wolter; and his brother-in-law Larry Ebers.

He is survived by: his wife Vernitta Wolter; his son Bradley (Kimberly); his daughter-in-law Leslie Wolter; his sister Jeanette (Gary); his grandchildren, Lauren, Blake, Brooke and Brinley Wolter; and his parents-in-law, Dennis Voss (Donna), Lela Koester (Harvey), Randall Voss (Carolyn), Wayne Voss (Jeanie), Nola Jean Vallett (Sam), Mark Voss (Angela), Stanley Voss (Janel), Cindy Ebers, Tim Voss (Debby), Bonnie Marshall (TJ) and Pam Henry (Mike). He is also survived by Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
