He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Anita; his parents-in-law, George and Cecilia Lanter; his son Lynn Lautenschlaeger; his brothers, Glenn, Warren and Carl; and his siblings-in-law, Norman, George Lanter, Lambert Juba, Jack Ryan, Florentine Haas, Frances, Vernell Lautenschlaeger, Gert Juba, Millie Haas, Florence Lanter, Mary Lu Lanter and Florence Ryan.
He is survived by: his wife Cecilia "Woody" Lanter Lautenschlaeger; his children, Betty (Rocky Logston), Alice (Gordon Arras) and Guy Lautenshlaeger of Red Bud, IL; his grandchildren, Corrina (Jeremy Stephens), Heather (Josh Ballou) and Crystal (Troy Peppers); and also, Firmin Lanter and Kitty Lanter. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, two great great grandaughters, many nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone is asked to be patient and abide by the number of visitors allowed inside the church.
