He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Mudd and Anna Mudd; his former wife Carolyn Zipfel; and his siblings, Clyde Mudd, Vernon Mudd, Wilmarth Harris, Russell Mudd, Eileen Junge, Elmer Mudd and Ida Mae Lauber.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Wolfangel; his children, Christopher, Cynthia (Dave), Carmela, Connie, Cathy Wiegard (Doug), Colleen (Brent) and Clinton Mudd (Cheri); his grandchildren, Hannah Mudd, Rachel Mudd, Andrew Mudd, Erin Goessling, Jared Goessling, Nicole Geller, Caleb Straub, Meagan Pflueger, Conner Reeves, Austin Wiegard, Carter Wiegard, Rylee Hamby, Reed Hamby, Cailee Mudd and Camden Mudd; his great grandchildren, Brogan Geller, Keegan Pflueger, Carson Pflueger, Kai McClelland and Wrenley Reeves; and his siblings-in-law, Angie Mudd Red Bud and Rob Lauber St. He is also survived by Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
