He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Nagel and Edna Nagel; his brother Marvin Nagel (Mary); his parents-in-law, Leland and Pauline Hoffmann; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn, Glen Luhr, Cletus Hoffmann and Alvis Hoffmann.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Nagel; his children, John Nagel (Alice) and Susan Nagel (Dennis Albert); his grandsons, Paul and Mark Nagel; his siblings, Kenneth Nagel (Ruth) and Myra Lesinger (George); and his sisters-in-law, Twila and Patsy Hoffmann. He is also survived by nieces; and nephews.
