We bid farewell to Sharon Kay Stewart of Raymond, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 25, 2025 at the age of 84. Sharon Kay touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Westphal and Marcella Westphal (Hines); her husband Dennis; her sister Joyce Mullins; and her nephew Rodney Mullins.
She is survived by: her close friend Larry Honnies of Raymond; her children, Scott Stewart (Elizabeth) of Friendswood, TX and Stacy Smith (Greg) of Chatham; her sister Nancy Montgomery of Taylorville; her sister-in-law Janice Kuester of Phoenix, AZ; her grandsons, Brady Smith (Chloe) of Edwardsville, Tate Smith of St. Louis, MO, Jonathan and Christopher Stewart of Friendswood, TX; and her great grandchild Baker Smith of Edwardsville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Harvel (402 Monroe St, Harvel, IL 62538). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and customary remembrances, memorials are to be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church in Harvel, or to the Michael J. Fox Foundation in memory of Sharon to help fund Parkinson's Disease research.
