She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Erwin and Sophia Watson Erwin; her husband John M. Barto; her daughter-in-law Marilyn Barto; and her siblings, Mary White (Betty Wagahoff) and Bob Erwin.
She is survived by: her children, John R. Barto of Raymond, IL and Rita Spoor (Bob) of Normal, IL. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and 7 step great great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
