It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Barto of Raymond, Illinois, born in Litchfield, Illinois, who passed away on November 22, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Shirlen Rosenthal and Mary Rosenthal (Krager); her husband John Robert Barto; her sons, Brian Barto (Shonda) of Philo, IL, Kevin Barto (Katie) of Lemont, IL and Jason Barto (Alyssa) of Spring Hill, TN.; her granddaughters, Annabelle Barto of Spring Hill, TN, Koralyn, Konnelly and Keslia Barto of Lemont, IL.; her stepgrandchildren, Skye Mahaffey, Canyon Mahaffey (Mylissa), Harley Smith (Brody), Lexy Mahaffey and Alexis Brown (Justin); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kruz, Harleigh West, Lylah, Olyvia Mahaffey, Stella Smith and Stockton Brown; and her brothers, Dennis Rosenthal (Julia) of Raymond, Thomas Lee and Larry Joseph Rosenthal. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
IDPH Tier 3 mediation will be followed, including use of masks and social distancing.
The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to St. Raymond's Cemetery or Siteman Cancer Institute.
