It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold L. Benning of Raymond, Illinois, who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Martin and Emma Iona Benning (Hudson); and his siblings, David Benning, Paul Benning, Ralph Benning, Joyce Weihe and Russell Ludwig.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Hahankamp; his children, Colleen McAdamis, Constance Brown (Jeff) of Virden, Julie Benning (Jon Robinson) of Taylorville and Michael Benning (Michele) of Raymond; his siblings, Dorothy Sloss of Raymond, Virginia Rinella of Carbondale and Ivan Benning of Harvel; and his sister-in-law Fran Benning of Raymond.
