He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Avery Courtney and Irene Courtney (Barclay); his wife Karen Kaminski Courtney of Raymond; his children, Jessica Cloe of Bethalto, Kari Brown (Kyle) of Lake County, Heather (Robert McGill) of Litchfield, Haley Hatfield of Hillsboro, Illinois and Ben Jackson (Jamie Gunning) of Palmyra, Illinois; and his siblings, Beverly Haygood (Pat) of Union City, Tennessee and Larry Courtney (Julia) of Arlington. He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
