She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry DeShane and Eunice DeShane (Stone). She is survived by: her husband John Turkal; her children, Lynn Steffen (Greg) of Land O' Lakes, FL, Kari Turkal-Barrett (Gary) of Knoxville, TN, Robert Turkal (Leona) of Walcott, IA and Thomas Turkal (Mary) of Tucson, AZ; and her grandsons, James Turkal (Kara) of Rapids City, IL, Robert and Rudy of Tucson, AZ.. She is also survived by 3 brothers, many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory - Coal Valley (1700 1st St, Coal Valley, IL 61240). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (2431 1st St, Coal Valley, IL 61240).
