The passing of Carl Ray McGee of Rapids City, Illinois, born in Paris, Missouri leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 29, 2024 at the age of 84. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark McGee and Mary McGee (Carr); his daughter Lesley S. Remour; his sister Mary Jean Melton; and his siblings-in-law, John Gingry, Cleo "Terry" Gingry, Ken Holton and Collette Lilly.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his son Carl R. McGee II (Becky) of East Moline, IL; his sister Julia Holton of Silvis, IL; and his grandchildren, Christina McGee, Molly Fegter (Derek), Carl R. McGee III (Kaylee Long), Jeremy Remour, Amanda Bundy (Mike) and Whitney Crews (Tommy). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and special neighbors.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, East Moline.
