Sharon Ann Hoveln Obituary

The memory of Sharon Ann Hoveln of Rantoul, Illinois, who passed away on February 8, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Husted and Helen Wilson Husted; her husband Edgar E. Hoveln; and her sister Judy Blackford. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Barr (Doug) of Ogden, Jeff Hoveln (Shari) of Urbana, Nancy Valenti (Steve) of Scottsdale, AZ and Julie Pappas (Dan) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Jesse Barr (Kaylee), Trent Hoveln (Bailey), Ross Barr (Rachel), Leah Lakatos (Mason), Brant Hoveln (Kate), Cade Valenti, Braedyn Pappas, Shay Valenti and Josie Pappas; and her siblings, Rob Husted, Janey Huls and Susie Schlueter (Allan). She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Diers Hall, Immanuel Lutheran Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
