He was predeceased by: his parents, Wren Hampton and Patricia Hood; and his grandmother Donna Robinson. He is survived by: his children, Michael Hampton of Dwight, IL, Matthew Hampton (Camryn) of Champaign, IL and Judith Hampton (Nicholas Stevenson) of Champaign, IL.; his brothers, Jeffrey Hampton (Lisa) of Galva and Wren Hampton III of North Carolina; his nephew Kristopher Hampton; his nieces, Maria Steidinger and Morgan Hampton; and his stepfather Paul Hood.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rux Funeral Homes (507 S Chestnut St, Kewanee, IL 61443). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.
