He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed 'Buzz Sheehan and Vera Brown Sheehan; his wife Barbara; and his sisters, Jane DeFuria and Mary Grosjean.

He is survived by: his children, Steve Sheehan (Barbara) and Colleen Maxwell (Chuck); and his grandchildren, Erik Sheehan (Ivanny), Travis Sheehan (Becky), Kelly Marcus (Joe), Katey Wamsley (James) and Lydia Nadal (Brett).
