He is survived by: his wife Linda Zehr; his children, Todd Weitekamp (Renee) of Fisher, Heidi Grieser (Dan) of Rantoul and Megan Hansens (Douglas) of Dewey; his grandchildren, Bradley, Ryan Grieser, Luke, Delaney, Jesse Hansens, Evan and Sidney Weitekamp; and his siblings, Maureen Conboy of South Bend, IN, Timothy Weitekamp (Sue) of Rantoul and Bernie Weitekamp (Mary Ellen) of Indianapolis, IN..

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Baier Family Funeral Services (406 E Pells St, Paxton, IL 60957). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
