She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde V. Kates and Lois E. Kates (Chalfant); her husband Bob; and her brothers, Roger and Terry Kates.
She is survived by: her grandson Zach; her children, Roberta "Bobbie" Keesee of Ransom, Jamey Hagi (Kim) of Ransom, Scott Hagi (Amy) of Streator and Kiley Hagi (Jody) of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Misti Cave (Joe), Ashli Gilles (Joe), Zachary Keesee (Hannah), Abbey Hagi, Dalton Hagi, Benjamin Hagi, Holly Hagi, Kates Hagi, Kerrigan Hagi and Karcin Hagi; and her close friend Judy Coughlin of Ransom.
