He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude P. Carruthers and Ima S. Carruthers (Hardiman); and his siblings, Robert, Ray, Roy, Cloide, Claudia Alice, Mary, Rosallie, Helen, Rebecca and Imogene.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Sue Carruthers of Ramsey, IL; his children, Daniel "Boonie" Carruthers (Lisa), Lana Black (Cloyd), Danita Tippet (Jason), Melinda Carruthers of Saint Petersburg, FL and Ima Jo Towler (Travis); and his siblings, Richard Carruthers of Ramsey, IL, Donna Depew of Shiloh, IL and Nancy Stanton of Hillsboro, IL. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren - 11 Great Grandchildren.
