He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Reis and Mary Reis (Kuchman); his siblings, Robert "Bob" Reis, Rich Reis, Gary Reis and Darlene Williams; his siblings-in-law, Gayle Reis, Sharon Lord, Gail Williams, Ed Spilker and Alex Wagner; and his nephew Ronnie Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Susie; his children, Michelle Zanger (Lloyd) and Jeff Reis (Laura); his niece Joann Lubbert (Aaron); his grandchildren, Joey Lord (Heather), Rachel Whitlock (Michael), Samantha Wolf (Rudolph), Reece Dieker (Megan), Dawson Lubbert, Elizabeth Reis (Ryan Caviness), Alyssa Lubbert, Stephen Reis (Jenna Lynch), James Reis, Jessica Brunenn (Casey) and Courtney Zanger (Josh Chapman); his great grandchildren, Ryleigh, Ellie Brunenn, Payton Zanger, Karly, Kasey, Kally, Kamry Leenerts, Olivia, Brandon, Macy Whitlock and Athena Wolf; his brother Danny Reis (Diana); his sisters-in-law, Sharon Kuhlman and Maggie Reis; and his pet Lilly.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home (1435 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (1119 S 7th St, Quincy, IL 62301).
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Quincy Humane Society, or Quincy Notre Dame Soccer.
