He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jerry, Carolyn "Babe" Brown, Glenda and Shelby E. Griffin. He is survived by: his parents, Shelby T. Griffin (Tammy) and Gayla Green (George); his children, Shelby M. Griffin and Kelsey S. Griffin; his sister Cara S. Tarpein (Jamie); his stepsister Rebecca Gallagher (Matt); his aunts, Kristie Arrowsmith and Mildred Kim Tournear (Larry); his cousins, Amanda S. Tournear, Carolyn L. Tournear, Cory Arrowsmith, Stacy Arrowsmith, Sunny Epperson, Mike Mixer and Stacy Mixer; and his nieces and nephews, Haylie, Lexi, Chloe and Axl.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home (1435 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
