He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Baker and Alice Wisman Baker; his son-in-law Dave Ellsworth; and his brother Harold Baker. He is survived by: his wife Ruth E. Wear; his children, Michael "Mike" Baker (Gina) of Quincy, Diane Moulton of Acworth, GA, Donna Ellsworth of Acworth, GA and Darrell Baker (Kim) of Maryland Heights, MO; his grandchildren, Kimberley Lightfoot (Josh), Scott Baker (Missy), Jason Ellsworth (Tiffany), Heidi Peacock (Todd), Kenny Ellsworth (Erin), Brian Ellsworth (Amanda) of Cartersville, GA, Joseph Keesee, Jordan Keesee (Stephanie) and Brett Baker (Anna) of St. Louis, MO; his sister Wilma Tieman of Golden, IL; and his sister-in-law Melba Baker of Quincy. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lutheran Church of St. John (3340 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
