He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger William and Leota Clearine Daniel Loos; his siblings, Dale R. Loos and Doris Shriver; and his sister-in-law Janice Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra "Sandy" Osterman; his children, Scott Loos of Pana, IL, Sara Schwab of Springfield, IL and Steven Loos (Krisann) of Quincy; his grandsons, Lance Loos (Mandy Thompson) of Quincy, Lucas Loos (Jairyn Hinthorne) of Quincy, Kyle Schwab of Carbondale, IL and Ryan Schwab of Okawville, IL; his stepgrandson Tyler Shelton (Meagen) of Jackson, MO; his stepgreat-granddaughter Kami Shelton; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Osterman (Debbie), Lynn Loos, Karen Daugherty (Jim), Carol Eicken (Steve) and Cathy Prunty (Roger). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home (1535 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
