Rosemary Smith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosemary Smith of Quincy, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 16, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Harriett (Howland) and Joseph Eugene Morrow; her husband Robert Smith; and her siblings, Wilbur, William (Bill), Joseph (Joe), Richard Morrow, Nancy Morrow, Erma Claus, Bernice Grimsley Saxbury, Kathy Reynolds and Minnie Cooper.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gina Hulett (Derek) of Germantown Hills, IL, Stephanie Sydenstricker (Kevin) of Palmyra, MO and Gayle Brinkman (Michael) of Chapin, SC; her stepchildren, Stacy Nation (Gary), Kelly Wood (Ed), Laurie Brace (Jay), Bethany Murphy, Craig Smith and Todd Smith (Kelly); her grandchildren, Ashley Kroeger (Dalton), Gracie Brinkman, Jacob Hulett (Michelle), Joshua Hulett, Justin Hulett, Austin Fish (Paige), Jackson Brinkman, Tyler Sydenstricker and Christopher Sydenstricker; and her great grandchildren, Aubree, Jace Webster and Daxtyn Kroeger.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Niebur Funeral Chapel (629 Mortimer St, Barry, IL 62312). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Rosebud Medical Fund for extraordinary medical expenses for Rosemary's grandchildren.
