It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Elliott of Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on April 9, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy A. Elliott and Thetis I. Sinks Elliott; and his son Christopher. He is survived by: his wife Nancy G. Parke; his children, Wendy Sutherland (Stephen) of Germantown Hills, IL and Drew Elliott of Boston, GA; his grandchildren, Shelby Passwater (Trent), Kelley Mathews, Ian Sutherland (Kadé), Travis Elliott and Paige Steele (Will); his great grandchildren, Josie, Rylee Passwater and Elliott Mathews; his stepchildren, John Parke (Donna) of Quincy, Lori Beyer (Steve) of Quincy, Evan Parke of Saudi Arabia and Dean Parke (Liza) of Lake Zurich, IL; his stepgrandchildren, Jacob Parke (Hannah), Blake Parke, Alex Post, Lauren Post, Claire Post, Nathaniel Parke, Nadia Parke, Bode Parke and Austin Parke; and his cousin Cheryl Richardson of Boston, GA..
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home (1535 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
