It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Dean Houghton of Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Dean and Bonnie Jean Houghton (O'Dear); his sister Patty Lynn Griffith; his nephew Todd Jason Griffith; and his brother-in-law Randy Jenkins.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Renee Dunker of Ursa, IL and John Robert Houghton of Quincy; his siblings, Debbie Houghton, Mike Houghton-Gloria and Mary Jenkins; his grandchildren, Kaileigh Fisher (Eric), Hayden Goodwin, Jarett, Brodie and Gavvin Dunker; and his great grandchildren, Karter Miller, Adalynn Derry, Hudson, Rhett, Cullan Fisher and Rhenleigh Sherwood. He is also survived by his family and watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
