He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Blevins and Mary Blevins (Tedrow); his wife Linda L. Wade; and his son Richard Blevins. He is survived by: his children, Robert M. Blevins of Quincy, Raymond "Matt" Blevins of Quincy and Tracie Pepper (Tom) of Quincy; and his grandchildren, Brant Blevins, Lacee Blevins, Bruce Blevins (Jennifer), Ryan Blevins, Patience Blevins (Geoff), Mary Blevins, Lindsey Parson (Levi), Kylie Cole, Shelby Miller (Eric) and Angie Peters (Andy). He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home (1435 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Quincy Memorial Park (5200 Broadway St, Quincy, IL 62305).
