She was predeceased by : her parents, Oliver Wiewel and Agnes Wiewel; her husband Martin Metzger (Marty); and her brothers, Floyd, Larry, Edward and Mike.
She is survived by : her children, Randy (Lori) of Camp Point, Kenny of Quincy, Tina Robinson (Terry) of Quincy, Annette Leerhoff of Quincy, Brenda Walton (Brent) of Fuquay-Varina and Angie Huels (Tim) of Waterloo, Illinois; her grandchildren, Michael Metzger (Kristin) of Jefferson City, Nathan Metzger (Rachel) of Seattle, Kamren Metzger (Hilliary) of Geff, Jennifer Barry (Keith) of Payson, Brandon Terstegge (Mariah) of Quincy, Neil Leerhoff of Quincy, Yale Cason (Katie) of Fuquay-Varina, Joshua Walton of Fuquay-Varina, Emma Maag (John) of Whiteland, Ben Huels of Chicago, Clare Huels of Waterloo and Henry Huels of Waterloo, Illinois; her great grandchildren, Brody Metzger, Jonah Metzger, Maci Metzger, Stella Metzger, Wren Metzger, Cora Metzger, Brooks Metzger, Peyton Barry, Parker Barry, Harper Terstegge, Nolan Terstegge, Colin Cason and Kaylee Cason; and her siblings, Betty McCoy of Shelbyville, Dick Wiewel (Dee) of Quincy, Theresa Ehrhardt (Spike) of Hannibal, Dale Wiewel (Carla) of Fowler, Mark Wiewel (Paulette) of Mendon, Terry Wiewel (Cathy) of Maywood, Brad Wiewel of Shelbyville and Bruce Wiewel of New London, Missouri. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Quincy Faith Church (4000 State St, Quincy, IL 62305). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
