He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. Vilsick and Patricia M. "Patsy" Vilsick (Kipping); and his sisters, Mary J. Vilsick Kamphaus and Susan "Hope" Vilsick Greenwell. He is survived by: his wife Rita Burton; his children, James M. Vilsick (Cindy) and Mary Kathryn Vilsick Flaherty (Matt); his grandchildren, Lucy B Vilsick and Theoren Vilsick; his nephew Jason Kamphaus (Cindy); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Gemma, Izzy and Lily; his nieces and nephews, Anne Burton, Brendon Burton, Seamus Burton, Damian Greenwell, Tamara Greenwell and Darwin Greenwell; his great-niece Maryann Burton; his brother James Burton (Carol); and his children, Bill Burton, F. M. and Leeann Burton.
Memorials are suggested to Pasa Park in Barry, IL for the Building Fund or Qunicy Notre Dame Class of 1967 Scholarship Fund.
