He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Russell and Helen Russell (Ash); his son David Russell; his grandson Richard L. Russell; his sister Charlotte Mohrling (Kenny); and his in-laws, Walter Ehrhardt (Loretta), Roger Ehrhardt (Leola), Eugene Ehrhardt, Bill Ehrhardt, Andrew Ehrhardt, James Ehrhardt (Roberta), Leo Ehrhardt, Tony Ehrhardt, Lawrence Ehrhardt (Irene), Anna Mae Obert (Donald) and Rosemary Frericks (Matt).
He is survived by: his children, Rick Russell (Donna Clifford) of Fort Madison, IA, Janice Nord (Ken) of Quincy, Sherri Musholt (Tim) of Westfield, IN and Melissa Flanagan (James) of Lee's Summit, MO; his grandchildren, Shannan Gahr (Wes), William, Taylor, Benjamin Nord, Raymond, Mary Kate Musholt, Annaliesa and James Thomas Flanagan, II (JT); his great grandchildren, Tessa, Paxton Lesesne, Thatcher and Lorelei Gahr; and his grandchildren, Adrian and Amaya Russell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to St. Francis Catholic School or to Blessing Foundation for Hospice.
