He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Obert and Edith Obert (Kamphaus); his sons, Wayne Obert and Anthony Obert; his siblings, Irene Schreacke, Virgil Obert, Wilfred Obert, Kenneth Obert, Edward Obert, Dolly Schreacke, Betty Brinkman, Carlene Peters and Mary Louise Wellman; and his in-laws, Robert Liggett, Ben, Florence Hugenberg, Rosie Hugenberg, Kenneth, Patty Hugenberg, Donnie and Sheila Hugenberg.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Hugenberg; his children, Kevin Obert, Sr. of Fowler, IL, Eddie Obert of Quincy, IL, Vicky Genenbacher (Bill) of Camp Point, IL, Andrew Obert (Melissa) of Mendon, IL and Leanne Knorr (Cory) of Fowler, IL.; his grandchildren, Gus Baugher (Kim), Kayla Obert, Kevin Obert, Jr. (Kayla), Lexi, Nicole Obert, Steven Manion (Elizabeth), Ryan Manion, Tyler Obert, Cheyenne Wiley (Mikel), Taylor Obert, Travis Genenbacher (Rob), Dustin Genenbacher (Jenny), Tanner Genenbacher (Karina), Brey Genenbacher (Drew), Piper, Aidan Obert and Isabella Knorr; his sister Anna Mae Liggett; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Wellman and Norma Jean Obert.
