We bid farewell to Leon R. Meyer of Quincy, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 7, 2024 at the age of 72. Leon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Meyer and Addie Meyer (Minnier); and his grandson Austin DeWitt. He is survived by: his wife Diane Leebold DeWitt; his daughters, Angela Shelton (Greg) and Michelle Lish (Evan); his stepchildren, Eric DeWitt (Paula) and Heather Marie DeWitt; his grandchildren, Quinton Shelton, Madison Meyer, Kobe Lish and Ava Lish; his stepgrandchildren, Aspen and Caitlyn; and his sister Karen Van Drew.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Twin Oaks Club (2707 Bonansinga Dr, Quincy, IL 62305).
Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
