He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Wiewel and Viola Wiewel (Wellman); his spouse Jacqueline'Jackie'Ancell; his brother Sonny; his son Timothy J. Wiewel; and his in-laws, Lloyd Wiewel (Ruth), Majorie Niekamp (Richard) and Dorothy Niekamp (Leonard).
He is survived by: his children, Christine L. Wiewel (Michael Schlinkmann), Douglas S. Wiewel and Cynthia Carlyle (Daniel); his grandchildren, Lynn Wiewel, Stephen Schlinkmann, Jacob Wiewel (Katie), Casey Wiewel, Ian Carlyle, Alec Carlyle and Anna Carlyle; his brother Loren'Sonny' Wiewel (June); and his close friend Sandy Bush. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home (823 Broadway St, Quincy, IL 62301).
Memorial donations are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church or the donor's choice.
