He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Sparrow and Florine Sparrow (Altgilbers); his wife Bonnie Klinner; and his brother Russ Sparrow. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Jr. Sparrow (Tanya), Gregory Meyer (Mary), Jennifer Kerker (Michael) and Melissa Drew (Matt); his grandchildren, Lowell Sparrow, Joey Sparrow, Karlie Sparrow, Charlie Sparrow, Jack Meyer, Kolbie Kerker, Tyler Kerker, Will Drew, Maggie Drew, John Drew, Lily Drew and Luke Drew; and his siblings, Thomas Sparrow (Carol), Jane Grant (Michael), William "Gene" Sparrow (Ashley), Diane Andrew (Kent), Robert Sparrow (Joan), Elaine Fesler (Rick), Roger Sparrow, Lisa Arens (Greg) and Richard Sparrow (Lucy). He is also survived by SISTER-IN-LAW: Judy Sparrow Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home (823 Broadway St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Church (1721 College Ave, Quincy, IL 62301).
Memorials may be made to St. Francis Catholic Church or to Quincy Notre Dame.
