Katherine Calvin Obituary
We bid farewell to Katherine Calvin of Quincy, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 16, 2025 at the age of 63. Katherine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Maggart and Virginia Maggart (Usherwood); her siblings-in-law, Angie Boll, Gordon Griggs, Kevan Griggs and Rex Winn; her parents-in-law, Donald Calvin and Bertha Colleen Calvin; and her nephews, Floyd Stamper and Rick Calvin.
She is survived by: her spouse Loyal "Scott" Calvin; her children, Amanda Rose (Alex) and Cory Calvin; her grandchildren, Caleb Rose, Connor Rose, Sophia Rose, Lucas Calvin, Izaiah Calvin, Dorian Clay and Abra Clay; her siblings, Jeanette Winn, Barbara Winfield (Jim), Diane Stamper (Floyd Sr.), Robert Maggart, Debbie Grootens (Kevin) and Bev Lang; her mother-in-law Maria Calvin; her sisters-in-law, Donette Jones, Amanda England (Keith) and Judy Griggs; and her pets, Pickles, Pumpkin, Staffordshire and Angie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home (1435 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
