With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen L. Davidson (Quincy, Illinois), who passed away on November 4, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Shires and Genevieve Herzog Shires; her husband Roger D. Davidson; her granddaughter Makenna Mabie; her great grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Ellison Bockhold; and her siblings, Milton Shires, Fern Johnson (JE) and Faylene Turner (Ray).
She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Powers (Tom) of Bloomington, IL and Tonya Duncan of Palmyra, MO; her grandchildren, Ashley Bockhold (Matt) of Quincy, Canady Brand (Sean) of Stanford, IL, Declan Powers (MacKenna Duncan) of Bloomington, Colm Powers of Bloomington, Ethan Duncan (Alyssa) of Dix, IL, Zavion Duncan (Morgan Robinson) of Dix, IL, Matt Powers (Cathy) of Highland, IL and Jenny Jenkins (Scott) of Lees Summit, MO; and her great grandchildren, Kaiser, Kellyn Bockhold, Parker, Colsen, Brand, Ryder, Sawyer, Kasyn, Jamey, Amelia Duncan, Logan, Layna Powers, Brynn, Beau Battas, Maddox, Harper Hayden, Zach and Ava Jenkins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
