John Herman Kahs Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2023, at the age of 86, John Herman Kahs of Quincy, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sr. Kahs and Amy Kahs (Niekamp); his wife Diana Crabbe; his brother Frank Kahs Jr.; and his son-in-law David Kaufman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Ann Hyer (Steve), Linda Wingerter (Brent) and Karen Thomas (Jeff); his grandchildren, Drew Kaufman, Shawn Kaufman (Christina), Hayley Harvey (Justin), Heather Meyer (Bryan), Kristen Zahm (Derek), Steven Thomas and Lauren Balzer (Alan); and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Crabbe (Rose), Richard Crabbe and Kay Kahs. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Mississippi Valley Hunters and Fishermen's Association.
