He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Nichols and Elizabeth Nichols (Achilles); his wife Barbara Smith; and his sister Judy Scott. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Nichols, Nancy Poellot (Dave), Tara Huseman (Randy), Jill Baker (Bruce), David Nichols (Jessica) and Kenny Nichols (Caren); and his grandchildren, Rachel, Alyssa, Anna, Carter, Nathanael (Kassandra), Ethan, Seth, Arianna, Alexis, Parker, Skye (Sid), Syrus, Sebastian, Stormie and McKenna. He is also survived by Numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
