It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack L. Hoskins of Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Hoskins and Josie Hoskins (Trussell); his wife Patricia McNett; and his siblings, Leo, Joseph, Robert Hoskins, Ethel, Elmo and Eiline Hoskins.

He is survived by: his cousins, John Kelley (Ines) of Quincy, Christi May (Bob) of Quincy, John T. Kelley (Megan) of Quincy, Misti Kelley (Dwayne Baum) of Quincy and Joy Gray (Carl) of Quincy; his nephew Larry Hoskins of Texas; his niece Peggy Worker (Herb) of Lake; and his close friends, Jane Baucom (John), Jeanne Zurweiler and Nancy Bookout.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home (1435 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Illinois Veterans Home Activity Fund or the Great River Honor Flight.
