He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan O. Wear and Virginia Wear (Mozingo); and his sister Iva L. Wear. He is survived by: his spouse DaVida L. Starkey; his sons, Ivan O. Wear III of Quincy, Jacob A. Wear (Chevee Carter) of Quincy and Ryan M. Wear (Rebecca) of Quincy; his grandchildren, Caleb Hoffman, Hayley Hoffman, Isaiah Wear, Noah Wear, Elaina Wear, Cashton Wear and Chesney Wear; and his nephew Johnathan Wear.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home (1435 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Riverside Community Church (900 N 5th St, Quincy, IL 62301).
