She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Muegge and Irene Clingingsmith Muegge; her sister Carol Carriker; and her nephew Daniel Allen. She is survived by: her children, Serena Ryan (Bob) of Philadelphia, MO, Valerie Hankins of Quincy, John Sedelmeier (Nicole) of Liberty, IL and Roger Myers of Washington State; her grandchildren, Phoenix, Raiden Sedelmeier, Halle Trammel, Dusty McCollum (Andrew) and Nolan Ryan (Amber); her great grandchild Brinley McCollum; and her siblings, Elizabeth Rolland (Murl) of Quincy, Vicky Hoebing (Paul) of Quincy, James Purdy (Debbie) and Dennis Purdy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
