He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Roy and Mildred Loretta "Millie" Leckbee Rost; his former wife Barb; and his sisters, Joy and Betty.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mathes Zimmerman; his children, Kevin Rost (Jamie) of Omaha, NE, Jill Kent (Dan) of Huntsville, AL, Jane Ardis (Marty) of Concord, SC, Tom Rost (Margaret) of Omaha, NE, Jennifer Ammons (Skip) of Clark Hills, SC, Jake Rost (Heather Beaman) of Glenwood, IA and Aundra Rost of Nebraska; his stepchildren, Ty Zimmerman (Erika) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Rachael Zimmerman (Todd Grant) of Quincy; and his siblings, Jim, Bob, Wilma and Jeanie. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
