He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Lester and Geneva Christine Sparrow Bowman. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Durst Bowman; his son Daryn Ray; his daughter-in-law Amy Meyer of Taylor, MO; his daughter Denise Marie Moore; his son-in-law Scott of Quincy, IL; his grandchildren, Kenady Layne Moore, Kaitlyn Marie Moore, Alayna Ryan Moore, Drake Richard Moore and Emily Rae Bowman; his daughter Kendra Michelle Scifres (Paul); his grandchildren, Carli, Ava and Aspen Scifres; his niece Marla Gilliland (Jeff); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jared Gilliland (Lily), Jordan Gilliland and Jared's; and also, Julie, Jason and Justin Bowman. He is also survived by his mother-in-law (Irene Durst), brothers and sisters in-law, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
