David M. Liesen Obituary
In loving memory of David M. Liesen of Quincy, Illinois, who departed this world on February 7, 2025 at the age of 82. David leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis A. Liesen and Virginia Liesen (Wigge); his brother Emmitt A. Liesen; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Steinkamp, Richard Davis (Shirley), Robert Howlett, Kenneth Davis, Ann Torres, Rosie Estrada and Donna Ransdell.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Liesen, Melissa Gilmore (Tom), Emily Masterson (Chris Rees) and Eric Liesen (Tonia); his grandchildren, David Casey (Casey), Amy Gille (John Steele), Lucas Liesen, Lynnsey Liesen, Ryan Liesen and Lucy Liesen; his great grandchildren, Jace, Rylea, Natalea, Avery, Jazlyn, John III and Jensyn; his siblings, Joe Liesen (Nancy), Dennis Liesen (Lucille) and Virginia Steinkamp; his sisters-in-law, Sally Howlett, Christine Day (Randy) and Marcella Davis; and his pets, Banjo and Shadow.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home (1435 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
