He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Barker and Lucille Barker (Wolfe); his sisters, Janice Gulick and Phyllis Reeves; his grandchildren, Daniel Alderton Aaron Moushey and Airy Hoffman; and his son-in-law Steve Ballinger.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Barker, Todd Barker, Tracey Owen, Tonna Moushey (Bob Venker), Danny Alderton (Cindy), Randy Alderton (Lynn), Linda Edwards (Tom), Tina Ballinger and Linette Richards (Jerry). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home (1435 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Great River Honor Flight.
