He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Mary E. Menke (Ferguson); his wife Betty K. Hayden; and his sisters, Ina, Nina, Dottie, Mary Lou and Grace.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Phillips of Quincy and Jerri Deming (Skip) of Columbia, MO.; his grandsons, Jay Briscoe (Whitney) of Quincy, Jason Sergent (Monica) and Scott Sergent of Columbia, MO.; his great grandchildren, Claire, Harper Sergent, Hannah, Maddy Sergent, Alysha (Sunny), Kayla, Gavin, Jaden and Reese Briscoe; and his great great grandchildren, Aluna and Geonni Briscoe.
Memorials may be made to the Vermont Street Methodist Church.
