He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Hunt; his sons, Timothy Muehring (Angela) and Nicholas Muehring (Lori); his grandchildren, Laura St (Aaron), Cason Muehring, Andy Cantrell (Alison) and Emilie Muehring; his stepgrandchildren, Steven Mercil (Clair) and Lauren Melendez (Arturo); and his great grandchildren, Hunter St. Clair of Quincy, Addison St. Clair of Quincy, Carl Muehring of Quincy, Zander Cantrell of Quincy, Harrison St. Clair of Quincy, Caroline Muehring of Quincy, Jeremiah Melendez and Emiliana Melendez of St. Louis.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home (1535 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
