He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Nieders and Selma Nieders (Peters); and his siblings, Marilyn, Joyce, Paul and Ray.

He is survived by: his spouse Jay Marie Meyer; and his children, Dennis Nieders of Maquon, IL, Carla Holbrook of Peru, IL, Steven Nieders (Vicky) of Quincy and Rick Nieders of Rockford, IL.. He is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.

Memorials may be made to Blessing Foundation for Hospice or to Blessed Sacrament Church.
