She was predeceased by: her parents, David Denton and Sarah Mae Byer Schultz; her husband Gerald Lee Egerton; her son David Egerton; and her sisters, Ruth Brammell (John) and Nadine McCarntey (Francis).
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Mayfield (Dennis) of Virden, IL, Joan Hester of Quincy and Jolene Wilcox (Pete) of Garland, TX; her grandchildren, Chad Mayfield of Springfield, IL, Amanda Kaburick (Joe) of Carlinville, IL, Sonia Lee Behrens (Mike) of Quincy, Shane Hester of Jasper, IN, Adam Gibson (Jessica) of The Colony, TX and Katie Gibson of Las Angeles, CA; and her nieces and nephews, Gary McCartney of Barry, IL, Jerry Brammell of Canton, MO, Rhonda Ruffin of Lake St and Ruth Ann Giacomin of Hannibal, MO.. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
She volunteered for over 20 years through the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).
