He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Taute and Effie Taute (Mueller); his wife Linda Loos; his daughter Debbie Winget (Powell); and his siblings, Rudolph Hank Taute, LeRoy Taute, Marvin Taute, Frederick "Fritz" Taute, Elnora Taute and Doreetha Elliott.
He is survived by: his children, Arthur R. "Bobby" Taute, Jr. (Tammy) of Perry, AR, George David Taute of Zephyrhills, FL and Monica Sue Trotter of Merom, IN; and his stepdaughter Jennie Galbraith (Dan) of Mount Sterling, IL. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
