As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Vern may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Jacobs and Minnie Jacobs (Foss). He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie; his daughters, Joanie Jacobs Buhmann of Lake Thunderbird, IL, Patricia Ann Newman (late Charles) of Grand Rapids, MI and Jill Beth Foster (Thomas) of Lockport, IL.; and his great grandchildren, Caleb, Brady and Connor.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 2 Lake Thunderbird Dr, Putnam, IL 61560.
Any donations can be made to the family and will be distributed at a later date per Vern's wishes.
