He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen and Angela. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his brother Rodney Brooks of Houston; and his children, Carolyn Farr (Joseph), Jason Brooks (Jeanette), Aaron Brooks (Jenny) and Thaddeus Brooks (Tracy). He is also survived by two nieces and a nephew.
